The Peoria Journal Star sports article, "Its kind of a legacy" was laying on my Panera Cafe table this afternoon. I flipped through it as I sat down and realized I knew two of the girls on the paper's cover. Not only did I know them but I had photographed them in similar volleyball gear the summer before. I have the privilege every year to photograph some seriously talented students. Taylor and Shelby both seemed to overflow with energy and passion for their sport and I figured I would be hearing their names again soon. This year both of the girls are a second generation of ICC Cougar's Volleyball players. Its cool to see how family members truly shape the next generation and can inspire us all.
